Please donโ€™t worry this is completely normal, I am sure we all experience different feelings like this at some point when running a reflexology business. If you would like to reignite your passion and boost your motivation, here are some of the activities that have helped me in the past when I have felt stuck: 1. Spend time in nature ๐ŸŒณ 2. Clean and tidy your office ๐Ÿงน 3. Turn off your social media notifications to create headspace ๐Ÿ“ฑ 4. Listen to upbeat music and even enjoy some kitchen dancing๐Ÿ’ƒ 5. Write a list of your achievements so far this year and celebrate ๐Ÿฅณ 6. Work with a mentor to talk through your challenges, sharing and talking through things can be so powerful ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ 7. Meet up with a therapist friend for coffee โ˜•๏ธ 8. Remember your โ€˜whyโ€™. Why did you start your business? Reminding yourself of your โ€˜whyโ€™ can be enough to reignite your passion and help you to get started on your goals ๐Ÿค What ideas would you add to the list? Many reflexologists will be delivering treatments, updating their website, completing their accounts, and creating social media content - all alongside looking after the family and home ๐Ÿ  Of course, we all love our work, but to keep doing the career we love it is crucial to make time to rest. Taking time off, away from your business at the weekend may help to provide you with more energy ready to begin the new week and support your clients. January Reflections The final day of January has January Reflections The final day of January has arrived and before you move forward into the new month, set aside some time to reflect and evaluate this month within your reflexology business. Consider the following questions: (1) What went well this month within my reflexology business? (2) What didnโ€™t go well this month? (3) What can I learn from January, so I can adapt and tweak my work? (4) What am I proud of this month? Working through these questions will help to let go of things that didnโ€™t go to plan, decide what you can do differently next month, and also celebrate your achievements. I have just completed my responses to the list, and I hope you enjoy completing yours too. I hope January has been kind to you and you enjoy celebrating your achievements. Kelly P.S. Tuesday Tip If your diary is quieter at the mome Tuesday Tip If your diary is quieter at the moment due to seasonal client illness, now is a great time to consider the question: โ€œWhen was the last time you viewed your reflexology business from your clientsโ€™ perspective?โ€ As a reflexologist you will deliver the best possible treatments to your clients, but how often do you think about all of the other elements that they will come into contact with when working with you? What impression could their experience give them about your business? Here are some ideas to consider: (1) Booking How easy is it for your clients to book an appointment with you? Do you have an online booking system? If you do not use an online booking system, is the information on how to book easily available on your website? (2) Prices and Payment Are your prices displayed and easy to find on your website, leaflets etc? Do you provide clear information on how you take payment? (3) Location Do you provide clear information โ„น๏ธ sharing where the treatment will take place, including the address and helpful information on where to park? (4) Treatment Room - First Impressions Count Consider the overall atmosphere of the treatment room from a clients perspective. Is it clean, welcoming, warm, relaxing? Top Tip: Sit in the treatment chair or rest on the couch and view the room from the clientsโ€™ perspective. Could anything be improved? Does the room need a repaint or refreshing in someway? Spending time checking-in with your reflexology business and viewing it from a clientsโ€™ perspective is an activity I suggest to my business mentoring clients. This activity can really help your business to grow, as client satisfaction will progress to more bookings and recommendations. When was the last time you did this activity?
